A Journey of Taste and Tradition In the Bardhaman district of West Bengal, a legacy began sixty years ago, marked by a man’s determination and a humble bicycle. Founded in 1964 by Mr. Sachindra Nath Ghosh, Agnibeena embarked on a journey to weave itself into the fabric of Bengali cuisine. Starting with a simple yet ambitious mission to deliver ghee to every household, Mr. Ghosh traversed rural and urban landscapes, pedaling his bicycle laden with the golden essence of his labor. His dedication knew no bounds, and with time, his endeavor bore fruit.

Carrying forward his father’s vision, Mr. Gopal Chandra Ghosh expanded the family enterprise, introducing two revered brands of ghee: “Special Gita Ghee” and “New Ghosh Ghee”. These brands soon became synonymous with quality and purity, earning the trust and loyalty of consumers across West Bengal.

As the years unfolded, Agnibeena continued to evolve, guided by the principles of dedication and hard work ingrained in the Ghosh family. The third generation, represented by Mr. Kunal Ghosh and Mr. Kaushik Ghosh, ushered in a new chapter of innovation and diversification.

With a keen understanding of evolving consumer preferences, the Ghosh brothers ventured into the realm of namkeens under the brand name “Agnibeena”. Drawing upon age-old recipes and a commitment to excellence, “Agnibeena” quickly carved a niche for itself in the competitive snack industry.
